About the Sheridan Surgical Center:

The Sheridan Surgical Center is a private entity whose mission is to provide an affordable and state-of-the-art surgical facility to the people of Sheridan and Johnson Counties and surrounding areas.

Founded in 2001, a physicians' group--comprised of local surgeons--set about to provide a facility where their patients could enjoy the efficiency and affordability of surgical centers in neighboring Billings and Casper without having to leave town. That physicians' group founded, owns and operates Sheridan Surgical Center, LLC.

Sheridan is the last medical community of its size in Wyoming to have a surgical center. We believe the benefits of a free-standing ambulatory surgery center were long overdue for our patients.

Your local surgeon may be a part-owner of the surgical center; however, your surgeon does not have to be involved in the operation of the center in order to use our facility. The center is open to all eligible surgeons and health-care practitioners in the Sheridan area.
